On being creative

I must be creative to get myself through

long hours in limbo, a hair’s breadth from too

little involvement in life’s richness and wonder,

too close to mind-numbing rancorous blunder.

And so, here’s what I do:

  • design and craft unique jewellery
  • design and stitch a variety of individual bag designs
  • sew and knit and crochet

Here’s what I don’t do:

  • market
  • sell
  • maintain a business

I craft because I need to for my well-being, my health, and my sanity. I need to sell my creations in order to make space to create make, and to be able to afford to purchase more supplies. I have a presence on Folksy, and on Pinterest. But still I seem to be missing something. I have decided to share more on my Blog, that links with Twitter, that links with Facebook. If anyone has more advice for me – please share. I look forward to your comments.
