A third of the way through Autumn (Fall) and the garden is sublime. I don’t recall noticing it in previous years but the bright colours of late Summer are intermingling with the warm hues of Autumn creating a depth and breadth that is inspiring. I felt that I had to capture the moment and so this morning set out with camera at the ready. Here is what I saw.
Colour, texture, form
Fading lights
Late bloomers & Last flourish
Fungi, heathers, herbs, mosses, wildflowers
Preparing for Spring
Contrasts
Until I downloaded my photographs I had not taken in the extent of what was there. As there are so many images I decided to group them and contain each within a slideshow. Please check out one or all. This is totally experimental for me so I’d appreciate feedback. Thank you so much for looking.
Lucky you! Truly beautiful 😊
Thank you Ahtees. Yes, I do count myself so very fortunate to be living amid this beauty of nature.
Beautiful flowers & greenery! The slideshow works really nicely, too – I especially like the last one on that, the richly green leaves with the raindrops. xx
Hi, Thanks for feedback on slideshow. I’m quite pleased with the way it turned out. 🤗The shrub with the rich green leaves is a choisya ternata aka Mexican Orange Blossom. The perfume is wonderful and the flowers are out for quite a time. Even in this wet and windy corner of Wales.
Hope you are well and able to be out in the last of the good weather.
Maz xx
