I love words: reading them, writing them, saying them.
With Winter less than two weeks away here is my picture image of chilly season words. Their hard sounds fit perfectly with the sharpness of ice, the rawness of bitter winds.

Which words do you think encapsulate the cold of Winter? Are there words in other languages that describe this Season well?
Ooo I like this, both the words and the aesthetics. Maybe ‘bite’, or ‘biting’? I say the cold has a ‘bite’ when it’s particularly bitter and sharp. xx
Yes yes. Love alliteration as suggested by your bitingly bitter combo. I now think I may have not included Rosetti’s bleak. Thanks for comments. Take care. Maz x
