Christmas Diary: Day 10

3 January

Really stumped today when ten drummers rocked up. Have contacted brass bands in neighbouring villages and they’re eager to hold auditions.

Accommodation is the real problem. What is Rob thinking? That I live in a Tardis? He has reality issues.
Mum knows everyone in the village. Some may be willing to put up a couple until I think of a more permanent solution.

Charlie – Mum’s friend – to rescue again. Found artisan cheesemaker who’s keen to buy all milk the cows produce. Also helping transport swans to new home. Proving invaluable.

Geese very effective lout-deterrents. No trouble over New Year. Result!

Diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder after fifty years in the mental health system I decided to share my experiences and consider the impact my health has had on my well-being. Being creative is the mainstay of my life and it's how I express my deepest emotions. Photography, writing, and design challenge me and help keep me rooted in the present.
