Here is my second image manipulation using the program Affinity. Very early days, and a lot of new skills to learn. Enjoyment is the key, and this certainly punches above its weight on that score.
Process
My starting point was to photograph three life study sketches and two oil pastel studies I’d made at college. I removed the backgrounds where necessary using Photoshop Elements before ‘Placing’ them onto a blank canvas in Affinity.
I played with various adjustments in the different layers gradually building into my final image. There are so many variants that I now need to start recording what I do and what effects I achieve.
