Another station on the Welsh Highland Railway, Rheilffordd Eryri in Welsh, with a perfect backdrop of Mount Snowdon, Yr Wyddfa.
Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and England, and a short walk from the station carpark is the start of one of the six recommended climbs to the summit. At 8.5 miles/12km, the Rhyd Ddu Path is a ‘quieter’ route, but the Visit Wales website suggests “a head for heights and sure feet” is necessary due to a “narrow ridge near the top”.
Once again I have created my Railway Poster image in Serif Affinity Designer. Still find it difficult to marry a simplicity of line and colour blocks with the complexity of the station scene, but at least I’m getting into more of a working rhythm.
Take care. M, x.
Definitely your best genre, another good one. How about opening your own poster business?
