Creative Design #8

It’s been over a month since I’ve shared my work, and I am truly surprised by how much time has gone by. But I certainly haven’t been idle, just busy with study.

I have been working on my fourth Welsh Highland Railway Station poster – and the one nearest to where I live, in the village of Waunfawr. Pronounced ‘wine -vow-er’ it translates as large (mawr) moorland or meadow (gwaun). Waunfawr is 3.7 miles (6 km) from Caernarfon, and near the Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, North West Wales. In fact the station is outside the National Park by just 1 mile!

It is a delightful station with masses of flower borders, and the car park is shared by an award-winning craft ale hostelry. And a well-positioned caravan and camping site. What’s not to like?

Hope you are enjoying some new freedoms. It’s been a rough few years and for some some the end does not appear to be in sight.

In our thoughts.
