On being in the mental health system

I’ll be sharing thoughts on my diagnoses and experiences over a period of fifty + years. I first encountered the mental health system when I was 18, back in 1969.
I’ve had quite a journey: round and round the revolving door, different meds, different treatments, different attitudes; same stigma, same frustrations, same fear.

  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Clinical Depression
  • Bipolar 1
  • Psychosis
  • Self harm
  • Mindfulness
  • Therapy
  • Psychologists and Psychiatrists

I hope you’ll find some useful nuggets within my words.
Check out My Life in Words too as there you’ll find poems I’ve written that also explore aspects of my health issues.
